There are three plans for teachers and schools: Free, Classroom and School. Every plan has unlimited reading, books set with questions, a class library, a safety overview for each class and a weekly class board you can switch on. What changes is how many classes a teacher can lead, how many new books arrive each month, how far back the statistics go, and how the school pays. A school starts on Free when it is set up.

Prices are in US dollars and do not include sales tax, which is added where we are registered to collect it. Paying for Classroom yearly costs 2 months less than paying monthly, and the new books still arrive a month at a time.
What counts as a new book
A new book is a book made for your class: one a student makes, or one you make for the class. Every plan counts them the same way.
- A picture book counts as 1 new book, and a chapter book counts as 2. Which kind is made follows the age group it is written for, so a class reading chapter books gets fewer books from the same month.
- Reading a book the class already has never uses one, however many times it is read.
- The count starts again each month, and books you did not use do not carry over.
- Each class also has a daily number of new books, so a month's books cannot all go in one afternoon.
Students can only make books when you switch on "Students can make books" in the class's Settings, which is off to begin with. The class's lead teacher or a school admin can also set "New books each student can make in a week" there. Books you make for the class from the Library tab come from the same monthly count.
The School plan
The School plan is for 5 teachers or more, and one order can hold up to 500. Each teacher adds 15 new books to the school's month, and every class in the school draws on the same books. It is the only plan on which an admin can invite other teachers, and the only one that can be paid by invoice. Running a school account covers inviting teachers and seats.
Choosing and changing
- On Free, a school admin can move to Classroom from Plan and books. The School plan, and paying by invoice, are on the school's Billing page.
- Only a school admin can buy a plan. A teacher who is not an admin is asked to speak to one.
- Changing a paid plan, adding teachers or stopping a plan is not done on the site yet. Write to us and we will do it with you.
