How the 7-day trial works

Sign up with your email and add a card. You pay nothing during the trial.
Do the ten-minute reading check with your child. The first books arrive the next morning.
The trial includes 3 books written for your child and the whole library.
Your plan starts on day 8 unless you cancel. We email you three days before.

Billing questions

What counts as a new book?

A book written and illustrated for one of your children, whether it lands on the shelf or you asked for it. Library books, rereads and printable sheets never count.

What if we run out?

Your child keeps the library and every book already made for them. The shelf still fills every day from the library. New books start again when the plan renews, or you can add a book pack any time.

Can I switch plans?

Yes, from Account → Billing. Moving up happens right away. Moving down happens at your next renewal.

How do I cancel?

Account → Billing → Cancel. You keep everything until the end of what you've paid for, and you can download your family's information before or after.

When am I charged?

Never during the trial. If you keep going, the first charge is on day 8, and we email you three days before.

Why do you need a card for the trial?

Children's privacy law (COPPA) asks us to confirm a parent before a child signs in. A small refunded card check is one way it allows. Nothing is charged during the trial.

Do schools pay per student or per seat?

A classroom is priced per teacher; schools and districts pay per student a year, with a signed agreement. Teachers give consent on parents' behalf for classroom use, and students never see a price. See the schools page.
