What we store with your answer
| What | Details |
|---|---|
| Yes or no | Your answer |
| Reason | The one you picked |
| Comment | Emails, phone numbers and long numbers are removed before saving |
| Article and version | So staff know which wording you saw |
| Random id | In a cookie called tt_hv |
| Account id | Only if you are signed in |
The cookie
The tt_hv cookie holds a random id. It is set only on /help pages and kept for a year. We use it so you can change your answer instead of adding a second one. It is not used for advertising.
Searches that find nothing
If a search finds no article, we count it by the words searched, so we know what to write next. Anything that looks like an email address or a long number is dropped. The count is not linked to you.
Page views
We count views per article per day. There is no visitor id.
Who sees it
Only TaleTykes staff in support roles. We don't send help center data to third-party analytics tools.
