See, download or delete your information

How to see, download, correct or delete what TaleTykes holds about your child, or withdraw consent.

You can ask to see, download, correct or delete your child's information, or to withdraw consent, at any time. Email privacy@taletykes.com from the address on your account.

You can do most of this yourself in Settings → Privacy and data: download everything as one file, delete one child, or close the account. To delete, type DELETE in the box and press the button. A deleted child can't sign in from that moment, and their information is gone within 30 days.

What you can ask for

Withdraw consent	We stop collecting. If it is the reading-service choice, we delete your child's information within 30 days.

How to send a request

Open your email app and use the address on your TaleTykes account. We use it to confirm the request is from you.
Write to privacy@taletykes.com.
Say which child (the nickname is enough) and what you want: see, download, correct, delete or withdraw.
Do not put sign-in codes or links in the email.
Wait for our reply. If we need to check something, we will ask.

Common questions

Can a teacher or someone else ask for me?

Requests come from the parent on the account.

Will deleting a child delete my account?

No. Deleting one child leaves the family and other children as they are. Say in your email if you want the account closed.

Can I delete only writing or recordings?

Tell us what you want deleted and we will say what is possible.
